When Mallie’s mom, Karen, reached out from Florida to share her daughter’s wish to travel to Newport, Rhode Island for her senior photos, I immediately understood the excitement. They fell in love with Newport years ago—and I can totally relate. This place has a magic to it; once it grabs you, you’re hooked for life.
We made a plan, set the perfect date, and everything aligned beautifully. After exploring different ideas and locations, they chose Rough Point—and I couldn’t have been happier. It was my first time shooting there, and I love stepping into new spaces. Fresh scenery sparks creativity, letting my eye wander and my imagination play with the light—my absolute favorite thing about photography.
The session couldn’t have gone better, and Mallie brought such a natural, effortless energy to her Newport senior portrait experience.
