Bittersweet Farm: A winter wonderland celebration for celia & michael Short and sweet
Who doesn’t love a winter wedding—especially when it comes with a surprise blanket of fresh snow? I know I do!
Add a little sunshine, a gorgeous couple, and a fun bridal party, and voilà—you’ve got an unforgettable winter wedding day filled with once-in-a-lifetime memories.
Mike’s mom, Lisa, was the first to reach out to me—2025 truly became the year of moms reaching out, and I loved every minute of it. If you’ve ever planned a wedding, you know how helpful it can be to have a parent involved. It gives a different perspective and helps take some of the stress off the couple. We had a great conversation, and the next step was connecting with the bride and groom to learn more about their wedding vision.
Their goal was clear: a small, intimate wedding surrounded by close family and friends.
They chose Bittersweet Farm, a beautiful barn wedding venue in Westport, MA, and it was my first time photographing there. It truly checks all the boxes for a rustic yet elegant barn wedding. With plenty of indoor and outdoor space, it’s perfect for wedding portraits in any season. The natural surroundings create a stunning backdrop year-round, and the staff was incredible—friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout the entire day.
They even helped move chairs so we could capture family photos inside the barn, giving us that classic rustic barn wedding vibe with clean lines—a photographer’s dream.
If you’re dreaming of a barn wedding in Massachusetts, surrounded by nature and perfect for an intimate celebration, Bittersweet Farm in Westport is absolutely worth checking out.
