There are some moments that feel like they were pulled straight out of a movie. When everything simply comes together This one? It was full-on cinematic magic. We’re talking about a vow renewal that took place in Watch Hill, Rhode Island — right on East Beach, where the sky melts into the Atlantic, the sun does that golden-hour thing it does, and Taylor Swift’s iconic white mansion watches it all from the bluff like a fairytale castle. Yeah. That one.
And right across the sand? The legendary Ocean House stood like a beacon of elegance — a backdrop that somehow made an already stunning couple look even more unreal.
The Vibe? Real, authentic and Absolutely Dreamlike
The weather that day was perfect. I mean, literally perfect. The kind of breezy warmth that touches your skin and keeps your hair doing that effortless, just-got-back-from-a-photo-shoot thing. No clouds, just endless blue and a light that made everything look like it was too good to be true, a stagelight, just for them. The weather- and photo-gods worked hand in hand and I already knew the moment I was taking the pictures, we are creating something special. Real life meets art - captured in a series of photographs that will last a lifetime. Sounds so cheesy... I know... but look at them... A barefoot in the sand, true love kind of magic that reminds me why I love what I do. Even after decades behind the camera.

Let’s just say they didn’t capture the moment — they elevated it. The golden-hour glow, the long shadows, the Ocean House behind them in soft focus, Taylor’s house peeking in from the cliffside, waves crashing like background music. Every frame was like a postcard from a life you want to live in a natural, nonposed, relaxing kind of way.
If you are planning on getting married and dreaming of what modern romance can look like? This was it. No cheesy poses. Just real love, crazy-good style, and an atmosphere that felt like nature itself was showing up for them.
Watch Hill is equipped with two stunning beaches. East Beach, with the lighthouse is the background and Napatree Beach with rocks going out into the water, an overlook over the harbor and the most perfect sunset. My absolute favorite location in Rhode Island by far.
Why It Matters
In a world that moves a little too fast, there is something powerful about pausing — coming back to the why of it all. Unconditional love, two people choosing each other again, right by the edge of the world. A step back in time, remembering why they chose each other and why it is important to reflect and relive. I am a lucky girl they picked me to capture it.
