FAQ

How do I prepare my horse for the photo session?

Prepare your horse the way you would, going to a horse show. Groomed, clipped, hoof polish etc. Make sure it is exercised beforehand so it might be more relaxed and you decide if you prefer a leather halter or a bridal.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am located in Southern Rhode Island but I am happy to travel to you, to capture you and your horse in a familiar environment. Depending on your location there might be a travel fee involved but no worries, I will always try to find the most economic way to get to you.

How far in advance do I need to book?

I often book 3-6 months in advance but do my best to accommodate immediate needs. Please feel free to contact me for availability.

What do I wear?

Tricky question! Keep the weather, your personal features and your horses color in mind. Wear something you feel good in, it will reflect in your photographs. If you would like feedback, I am happy to help!

Receiving your images

You will receive and email with a link to your online gallery, where you can download your digital files and purchase prints and wall art. The standard turn around time is 2-3 weeks. I offer expedited editing for additional $250 with a 48 hour turnaround time for immediate needs.

Wall Art & Prints

I offer a variety of wall art options and all types of prints for you to purchase. If you send me a picture of the location of your wall art, I am happy to assist you what looks best and what material would have your art pop! You can choose from acrylic, metal and framed prints.

Payment

At the time of booking you will have access to the client portal where you will be able to pay and sign the contract. All sessions with me require a $150 retainer to solidify your date. The remaining balance is due at the time of the session. You can pay via Zelle, check or cash, whatever is most convenient for you. A 3% additional charge will be applied for CC payments.
